How do I whitelist ft.com in my ad blocker?

There are many different ad blockers in use, however the process of whitelisting is broadly similar for each of them.

Below is a step by step guide to whitelist ft.com using three of the largest ad blockers in operation:

• Ad Block Plus
• Ghostery
• UBlock

Note: by following this process, you will be allowing adverts to be served from ft.com only – any other websites where you block ads will be unaffected by this process.

Ad Block Plus

If you can see the Ad Block Plus icon in the top right hand corner of your browser window, then left click on the icon to see the menu options:

From here, click on the Ad Block Plus icon on the first line to see the menu options.

To whitelist ft.com, left click on the 'Enabled on this site' text.

You will see the text change to 'Disabled on this site'

Ft.com will now be whitelisted in Ad Block Plus, however to allow adverts to be served you will also need to refresh your browser by:

• Clicking the refresh icon
• Re-typing 'ft.com' in the search bar
• Pressing Shift + F5 keys (PC)
• Pressing Command + R keys (Mac)

Ghostery

If you can see the Ghostery icon in the top right-hand corner of your browser window, then left click on the icon to see the menu options:

If you can’t see the Ghostery icon then left click on the three dot icon in the top right-hand corner of your browser window:

From here, click on the Ghostery icon on the first line to see the menu options.

To whitelist ft.com, left click on the 'Trust site' button.

You will see the button change colour from white to green and the text change to 'Undo'

Ft.com will now be whitelisted in Ghostery, however to allow adverts to be served you will also need to refresh your browser by:

You will see the standby icon change from blue to grey
