Changes to your FT Weekend Print subscription
What is changing?
As we continue to deliver maximum value to your subscription, we are delighted to provide all Weekend Print subscribers with even more award-winning journalism by extending their FT Digital Edition access to cover the full week at no extra cost.
Full FT Digital Edition access means you can read a digital replica of the FT Weekday newspaper from Monday to Friday, as well as your current FT Weekend paper and all FT magazines on your desktop or on your phone or tablet via the FT Digital Edition app.
This change will take effect from your next renewal date and will be outlined in your upcoming renewal notice.
Is this change optional?
Our Weekend Print subscription offering now includes full FT Digital Edition access, so a stand-alone Weekend Print subscription is no longer available, and therefore, all existing Weekend Print customers will be transitioned to this new offering at their renewal.
Changes to your suspension credits
You will still be able to claim credits for any delivery suspensions or missed deliveries of your newspaper. However, please note that moving forward the value of those credits will be slightly less.
This is because suspension credits account only for your printed newspaper, and now that your subscription price will include both the printed newspaper and the Digital Edition, the value of the newspaper, and therefore credits, will be slightly less. However, as this change provides you with the extra benefit of access to FT journalism Monday to Friday via the Digital Edition in addition to your weekend print paper, which you can also read through the Digital Edition, we believe this outweighs the slight depreciation of your suspension credits.
