What are the changes to Digital vouchers?
We are replacing all digital vouchers with quarterly paper booklets due to changes in some of our business processes. Newspapers can continue to be redeemed in a similar way (see below for details) and no other account changes will apply.

I’ve been using the digital vouchers for several years and find it convenient - why is the FT making this change?
We are always trying to improve our services and your experience with our products. We are phasing out the use of digital vouchers due to changes in some of our business processes which unfortunately means we can no longer provide the service. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

How do paper vouchers work?
Paper vouchers work in a very similar way to digital vouchers. They are sent out in quarterly (13) week booklets that are dated and can be scanned by your retailer, or newsagent, of choice. If you use a retailer to deliver your paper, you will still need to pay the delivery charges as you do using a digital voucher. 

Will I still be able to use my digital voucher up until the start date of my first voucher booklet?
Yes, we will ensure that you will not experience any break in service.

Can you send the voucher booklet directly to my newsagent?
No. The voucher booklet is the property of the subscription account payer, so we can only send it to them.

How will you compensate me for this inconvenience?
We are sorry for any inconvenience caused by this change. We have tried to minimise any disruption to your service. Your retailer will still accept paper vouchers as payment for your paper as they do with digital vouchers, with most of the changes applying to the retailer's process. 

I use the card and the letter depending on where I am in the country - how will this work with paper vouchers?
Your voucher booklet will contain a voucher for each individual copy of the paper. You will need to tear out and hand over the relevant vouchers for the day you want to collect the paper to the newsagent/retailer of your choice. You can use each individual voucher in differing stores. 

Do all retailers accept Paper Vouchers?
Yes, almost all retailers accept paper vouchers. 

Can I be refunded for any unused vouchers?
