How are certain transaction values calculated?
Price – the trading price of the share is based in the currency of the company’s stock exchange.
Price change – the percentage change in the trading price of the share since the market opened
Dividend – For dividend transactions, this is the amount of the dividend per share of the stock. Dividends and share splits are automatically calculated based on the company’s trading history, this cannot be changed.
FT portfolio lets you manage your dividends. You can set dividends so that they are managed manually; reinvested; moved to a cash holding; included in a return but not reflected in your portfolio value; or excluded completely. Your selection will impact the calculation of your portfolio’s overall value. To learn more about how to manage your dividends scroll up.
